I see it as attempting to control the intrusion i to their lives. The folks that try to hide become more "exclusive" which causes more pap action because of the higher payout whereas the folks paying the paps have some form of control (for the most part).

Would the paps even want pictures of their child? They don't seem like a couple the photographers would chase down.
Interesting, because in April, Bell and Dax had one kid. She just announced her second pregnancy last month. Maybe Mr X should call himself Mr Y.
My dad would have said, "wow, their kids must be pretty ugly!"
(But I would never say that.)
It depends on when they were calling the paparazzi to stage shots and when they started their campaign. Were they staging shots without the kids or with the kids.
The lesson learned by Lady Diana is if you choose to use the media including the paparazzi when it suits you/moves your agenda, don't be surprised when you actually have less control of the situation. You make a deal with the devil, don't be surprised when the devil imposes his own terms. Or by inviting some paparazzi in, the other paparazzi are going to see it as permission to be more relentless.
There are many celebrities who feel no need to use the paparazzi to advance their careers and stage any kind of shots on a regular basis and manage to find ways to keep much if not most of their private life private.
For example I knew nothing of Meryl Streep's kids until the one daughter started acting.
I don't consider this hypocrisy.
They were not protesting celeb parents for pimping their kiddie pap photos, they were calling out paps for intruding on privacy (right?).

- "stop kid paparazzi" is an initiative against grown men with camera lenses hiding in bushes at schools and screaming at celeb kids so that they turn their faces in their direction to get a good shot. if the parent is there (if it is staged), they can at least explain the kid what's going on, and provide mental/physical protection. exploitation as well, but a guarded one, at least
still, I challenge you ently, show us a pap photo of lincoln

So much for them telling people to boycott magazines w/ celebs kids in em. Seems to be they don't mind the kids being photographed as long as they get a cut.
Bell is a hypocrite, and a dunce, but she does have a fantastic fanny. Would still bone, but would not listen to yapping pre or post.

There used to be a time when kids were off limits and it had a lot to do with Charles Limburghs baby disappearing. Photo agencies should leave the kids alone and the parents who do allow it need to smarten up.
Then why don't the paps call them on it? C'mon, guys, drop a dime.
@7 and others.. i think mr x means they were constantly calling the paps the minute they got together for set up pap shots and the minute they have a kid and a movie to promote they're everywhere complaining about privacy.. like above poster said once you start using paps for your agenda they will never stop for they're agenda

@sugarbread, I was referring to the "kids" that Mr X mentioned. Bell and Dax have only one kid. E at least says kid(s).
But I agree, once you start that train, you can't get off of it. I do like that DM blurs out kid faces, but at the same time, the little ones belonging to JJ and Amy Poehler are absolutely adorable. And Harper, that child is a delight.
@7 i think mr x said kids to keep it vague. but they have no problem calling paps to further their "power couple" agenda but then they needed to promote a movie and now they needed a new agenda.. notice how most of the biggest celebs .. the brange.. said nothing..crickets
By that logic, there should be tons of different photos of them with their daughter, right? Because there's not.

@7 @evie i mean before the baby they were probably always calling paps to set up cute date night shots of the 2 of them and then decided to flip the script when they became parents,, but you can't negotiate w/ terrorists. look at kartrashians.. they used paps, tabs to makw them famous and kimmode cries foul when paps and take/ publish unflattering photos and compare her to shamu the whale..
if you are going to use the paps to further your career even if they are not as famous as k-trash, you don't get to pick when the tabs, paps leave you alone..

agree with Sugar. you can't have it both ways. the Emma stone and Andrew Garfield route seems like a good alternative, or wearing t shirts with socially conscious or charity info on them would be a good idea.
I hate these two. The way they have likened paparazzi to child molesters is revolting. Yeah, getting your picture taken is just as bad as being sexually molested. Assholes. Dax and Kristen should be ashamed of themselves.
