This foreign born former A list mostly movie actor who is probably in the B+ range now because of some bad choices is still technically married to the B list movie actress which is why he has tried to keep his much much younger girlfriend locked in their hotel room each day while he promotes his new blockbuster movie. He doesn't want her answering questions and he is also scared that someone will snap a photo of her and see just how young she is. Apparently she is not even out of her teens.

He went for the bleached blond bimbo that to a Latin foreigner like him was the epitome of glamour and Hollywood. Getting a woman like her meant that he had "arrived". Melanie would have fucked up her face no matter who she had been with or if she was single. Sex kittens don't age gracefully.
I'm sorry, but he is no longer A (you acknowledge that) and hardly ever was. Calling her B is generous. They are certainly forever A list in name recognition only. (The Banderases).
