This foreign born A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee was forced on this A list mostly movie actor who is also directing a movie. The studio wanted her. Don't ask me why because she is not any kind of box office gold at all. Our actor/director didn't want her and the two have been in constant battle since the movie started and her scenes have been cut as much as possible and there have been some days when they really need her that she has decided to call in sick to get back at him. You would think if people are getting paid millions of dollars to just act in a movie they would not be so petty.

I don't see why anyone is surprised people making loads of money act petty. My experience is that the more money is involved the more petty the egos become.

It makes no sense that she'd be foisted onto director Bateman.

Nic is also producing FF so it really doesn't add up that she was forced onto a director. Her company has been working on this film since 2011. She was always set to star in it.

If this is Kidman, wouldn't Punnington have the first right answer since she named both the actress and actor? And why is it really that big of a deal. It seems extremely petty and super Jr high.

@Tru, I don't know if this Entern knows the difference between foreign born and raised overseas. However, I think you & everyone that says she's the boss on the film could be on to something.
Kidman acquired the rights to TFF in Oct 2011, Bateman signed on in Nov 2013.
Kidman is not foreign born for the record (Hawaii) so it may not be her. She would e a good guess otherwise because she sure comes across like a super diva

Just for a different person, I was thinking Cate Blanchet because I think she's fantastic but her movies aren't huge money makers. I just can't see her acting like that, though
