Blind Items Revealed
This former A+ list mostly movie actress was hammered at a recent event where she was speaking. Probably not the best place or time to be drunk.
Julia Roberts/sister's funeral.

Isn't everyone supposed to be drunk at funerals.
If I was being blamed for my sister committing suicide and thought it might be true Id probably be obliterated.
@punningtons nailed this on the frist! Way to go!
@sugarbread: if they were close to you, you have every right to grieve however you need to. DUH.
Judgy, Judgy Enty McJudgerson.
Don't blame her.
I'm not her biggest fan, but I don't see being drunk at your sister's funeral as an outrageous offense.
I'll cut her some slack on this one
I personally feel it's the best place to be drunk. Numb yourself. I hate Funerals!!!
Does anyone who knows what's up with the Beyonce guesses care to clue me in?
I doubt anyone noticed. She seems like a happy drunk.
Wasn't drunk at my dad's funeral, but was drunk quite often on my down time prior to and after his death. Can't blame her really. She probably should have waited for the wake.
To the best of my knowledge it's just silliness, @Brenda L.
Much like guessing Betty White.
Sorta annoying, but I'll get over it.
I wish I'd been drunk at my dad's funerals. I usually wait til after. Regardless of who you are, funerals are a heinous assault on emotions. I don't blame anyone who temporarily seeks solace and self medicates.
* Funeral: singular. He only had one.
Nothing wrong with drowning your sorrows in alcohol once in a while.
Brenda - just one of those dumb things where someone guesses her for every blind and then others start doing it.
I'm surprised given the circumstances they let her speak.
No shade for being drunk at a funeral.
Could be a rationale for more than one funeral - a private one for family and then a memorial service or wake.
If I remember correctly, she wasn't asked to speak - the speech was impromptu.
I wasn't drunk during, but I certainly got WAYYYSTED after my brother's funeral. Then again, I wasn't blamed for his death, though I did feel like everyone probably wished that it had been me instead...but that's another story for another day.
I think this went hand in hand with another blind/tabloid article about how Julia delivered a rather nasty speech at her sister's funeral. Perhaps this is part of the reason why. Alcohol destroys people's filters.
Can't really blame Julia for getting drunk, given the situation.
Julia being Julia wasn't upset over her sister's suicide, Julia was upset because of the suicide note outing her as the truly horrendous person she is during awards seasons. She was drunk because her community can't deny what she is and her career is now very damaged. No one likes her or wants to see her in a movie. Voice over Hell for Ms Julia - nobody's sweetheart.
Meh, I don't think this is that awful. Bad situation all around. And if anyone was on Team Dead Sister, I can see a couple glasses of wine getting turned into "hammered". *eyeroll*
I don't know...my cousin was hammered on vodka at my Grandma's funeral, and she handled it much better than I did.
Wow, i didnt even know she drank. She was probably nervous, what her mother being so ill and sister damning her from grave. Id drink too.
Overrated hack.
Enty is not Irish.
Yes.
Julia Roberts is an awful person, but not because she was drunk. But even if she gets a pass on this one, she'll more than make up for it when she's back to her sober and terrible self.
Enty is not Irish.
Word. My Dad wants a three-day wake.
How about complete lack of respect for you dead family member, the other members of your family, or yourself? Yeah being drunk at siblings funeral just smacks of class!
