You are right that that is the only complex dance sequence and it's still manageable. I'm thinking maybe they use the dancers either as standby in case something happens or for the stunts. In the Circus sequences, there are some basic acrobatics etc

I guess it all depends on how you sell the show - I would not pay a lot of money to see people with dancing doubles and lip synching - might as well stay at home and pop in some old DVD of Britney in concert.
At least with Janet Jackson you got stellar dance numbers and it was clearly her dancing her booty off and her mike was live so she could adlib a bit but clearly some backing tracks were utilized. That I can forgive giving the demanding dance numbers and she had the flu the night she came to town but it didn't stop her. And then nothing can beat seeing Elton John with just his piano, now that's something worth paying for.
No wonder the Aussies booed at Britney during her last tour there.
You guys, it's her medication. She will never be able to dance like before but she is loads better than when she started. For real.
Doubles for a Vegas show are common. It does not mean the star does not perform. Sometimes it is done for visual effects.
Britney has fans who would not care anyway. When she does not sing it does not matter to them When she does not dance it does not matter to them. If she is miserable it does not matter to them. So what difference does it make?
I still say she is using doubles for her entire performance. There has been some evidence of that in the Random Photos, and Lady H did say there is no screen for close up shots and my guess is this is why. She is medicated, quite heavily it appears and there is no way she could perform every night while she is. Shame on her family for forcing her into this situation and shame on the entertainment industry for capitalizing on a name performer who isn't so much of one. There are so many truly talented people out there who are just waiting for their moment in the sun. It's time we, as audiences, fans, and music lovers demand a little more than lip syncing and auto tune to keep us happy.
Pink don't need no body doubles. If you can't do the moves try something else. Paying to see someone who doesn't sing and may or may not even be onstage. What a fucking racket!

Well Britney was not faking it on the Mickey Mouse show. People thought Christina was faking it until you saw the video when she was 4 and she had the same powerhouse voice at age 4. Who else came out of the Mickey Mouse machine. Justin Timberlake is the only other one I can think of.
Now it may be the Britney never was the sharpest tool in the shed but I am pretty sure that she could sing and dance up until something went wrong. Whether she had a psychotic break that brought on schizoprenia or whatever. But why would meds affect her singing beyond inability to remember lyrics maybe hey even Alzheimer patients, music and lyrics is in the part of the brain that is last to go though I guess psychiatric drugs could still disrupt. If they got her on zombie level of drugs.

Okay I am so stupid and naive, they must have been lip synching on the Mickey Mouse show too, but did they record the song legit and then each person was lip synching their own part? they do that on Idol for the group numbers so they can concentrate on the choreography etc or were some live and some lip synching Ryan Gosling I am talking about you!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I saw her show a few months ago and, if that was a dance double, that double should be fired. The back up dancers were great but the "Britney" dancing was not. Granted I saw the show after a break of a few weeks and on her first night back but it was kind of sad. Why give the star of the show moves she can't quite do full out? It was as if Britney was doing a rehearsal and everyone else was going full out. There are at least two parts where she descends from something high like a tree or a cage or a platform and I could see her using a double for that if she's afraid. She's not actually singing live, so there was no excuse for the poor timing and lack of sharpness on the routines other than she just can't do it all as well anymore or she's just not made for long, live dance performances.

Sorry man, I pay to see YOU sing and dance. I'm not paying for a recording or stand-in. Either do it or hang yo shit up. I'd rather spend the money on a music dvd by the artist if I'm gonna see them lip synch. That way I get a perfect view and can watch it whenever I want. Can you imagine Nirvana phoning it in?
I just watched their induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame where Nirvana performed with 4 different guest singers. Grohl is a monster on the drums and there was no way that shit was "staged". Pop performers need to put up or go home.
There were a series of pictures in I think DM that were of her performing. When I increased the size and zoomed in, it looked like a very good female impersonator. The shoulders were a little broader, the hips a little narrower and the face a little more square jawed, but a damn good likeness.

Her actual singing voice is deep. It's really good too. She has a song on her Blackout album where she sings normal and it sounds great. A few songs on her Britney Jean album have her real voice and they're not bad either.
