If you are gay and not out, then Andy Cohen has a problem with you
. I don’t. As much as I think that every person who comes out helps others that are struggling with that decision, I still think it is a decision that only that person can make and you can’t make it for them. I get really skittish when other people can decide what someone else must do or can or cannot do if it only involves you. In his new book, Andy Cohen outs Kevin Spacey and says that he is really upset thinking about an interview where Spacey professed his love for a woman while being out in full makeup at an event with three men who were not hiding their sexuality. Again, it is up to Spacey to decide how he wants to live his life. I can’t decide if Kevin is going to respond or ignore. People and reporters have asked him about his sexuality and he says that he is entitled to privacy. He is, and if he is happier being in the closet publicly then, that is his right. I didn’t hear Andy Cohen forcing Anderson Cooper out of the closet. He let Anderson decide when was the best time. This smells of a way to sell more books.
