This B- list mostly movie actor who is still young and is the offspring of an A list couple has four or five dolls that he brings with him whenever he travels and sets them next to his bed and refers to them as his family. Apparently he talks to them all the time.

This is sad. He obviously hasn't been raised right. I wish Will would divorce Jada and go on to marry a strict woman who will put the kids in school, on diets and on curfew.
I'm obviously the odd one out here, but I think this is cute. Maybe it's a sign this family needs to spend more time together.
Ay, what makes you think Will wants them raised any differently? Why is Jada the only one to blame? That is as bad as people giving Bruce Jenner a pass, for Kylie being such an obnoxious whore.

I figure one is named L. Ron & another is Xenu, but I have no idea what the others are named.
This is the typical Scientology way of raising kids. They think of them as self-reliant adults and send them out on their own way too early.
When I was in college, I did a semester abroad program. One of the girls in my school brought a doll with her everywhere she went, that she called her "Mom." She wanted her "Mom" to see everything that she saw while she was abroad. My main thoughts were, (1) what a weirdo, and (2) I was having a lot more fun that she was, because I was doing all sorts of things I wouldn't want my mother to see.
You have a point. As an eccentricity, it's harmless, but does indicate loneliness (to me). If the parents are following Scientology teaching, then a child is considered an adult spirit in a smaller body. I don't see much warmth in the family's public interactions.
I'm the only one who doesn't believe this crap. Jaden has plenty of friends that he hangs with and takes pictures all the time. Owns a clothing business, puts out great albums and acts in good movies.
