Today's Blind Items - The Cameras
This A list mostly movie director makes some very good movies. He is also one of the biggest degenerate perverts in the world. He doesn't go after kids or anything like that but that is about his only limit. Everything else is fair game and he only tries to work with people who realize that he is has certain fetishes and desires that he likes fulfilled. Our director has been in the news in a bad way the past few weeks and there has been talk that he is terrified about some items that might be released. Our director has a muse. A favorite. Someone who understands him and understands that at least to her he is relatively harmless. Our actress is A+ list and became aware a long time ago that the director had a thing for her which only increased when they started working together. The director spoke to her about how he wanted to capture her image when she was not working and just having downtime in her trailer and asked if he could install a camera in her trailer. Sort of a Big Brother type thing that she would hopefully become less self-conscious about. He said it would make her performance better but she knew that he was hoping to catch her naked. She didn't really care and agreed and it moved from one camera that was visible to several that were not visible and the director managed to capture hundreds of hours of footage of the actress doing everything you can imagine. Partying, having sex and always playing to the camera. Fast forward to a time when they worked together again and this time the director didn't even ask and the actress knew the cameras were there and didn't mind. She had grown used to them. When she was hosting another A list mostly movie actress who has an Academy Award nomination/win, the subject turned to the cameras when our A+ lister spotted one of them. The A lister expected the A+ lister to be freaked out but the A+ lister explained the situation. Well, the A lister is one of the most uptight people in the world and freaked out and had security take her trailer apart looking for cameras and kept someone on standby 24/7 even when no one was filming just to make sure nothing got installed. She would jump and be jittery whenever the director spoke to her and told a couple of other co-stars about what she heard. Some were agitated and freaked out but most knew about the director and his kink and had worked with him before and didn't really care which is why he kept hiring them for projects. Apparently it was like a war on set with one team against another and there is worry that all of this will come out and cause a huge nightmare.

So, the big ol' scandal here is that someone engaged in a lengthy, completely consensual bit of electronic voyeurism play with someone? You'll notice that there's nothing in the blind about cameras being found in the other actress' trailer, only in the trailer of the actress who consented to it.
Commenters equating this with sexual abuse of an actress on a set or a relative elsewhere are not paying attention to what's actually happening in this blind.
Amy worked with David before, so don't think this adds up. She's been talking about him also during Big Eyes promo. She wants to work with him a 3rd time.
Kubrick was also supposed to be an abusive ass to his leading ladies. He was so bad to Duval on The Shinning that famous misgynist sexist Nicholson had to step in.
I would do the same thing as Amy. JLaw really troubles me...I think she hides her brokenness better.
Word is DOR was on good behavior during The Fighter then reverted back to old ways. Amy might still want the fame he brings, or the recent meetings could be damage control. He's freaking and scheming...

Adams (& Bale) worked w/ DOR before JL. If it's them, they didn't know?
Where in the Sony leaks is this stuff about Am. Hustle fighting?
People keep saying JL just met w/ Adams & DeNiro. Uh, proof?
Other than the reminder of the incident w/ his niece, how has it been "a very bad few weeks" for DOR? Then again, who else could it be?
That said, if this isn't (as is likely) fiction, then while my broad take on the photos leak doesn't change (It was wrong, period), JLaw can pipe down a bit about it. Again if true, don't lecture the world about respecting your body if you yourself don't treat w/ respect. Also, while everyone SHOULD expect privacy for phones, you've got to be dumb not to think a feed from cams might leak.
Morally, I wonder about doing favors (they need not be sexual) to get roles over others.

DOR's creep factor is off the charts. I am so suspect of Jennifer Lawrence because of her association with him. DOR and JL traveled together last week to NYC and met with Amy Adams for some reason. (She isnt in this upcoming shit show called Joy. Seems like some sort of pre empting of damage control due to the story that came out that he verbally abused Amy on the set of AH
Has to be David O. (Creepy) Russell, Jennifer Lawrence, and Amy Adams. Adams did work with him prior to American Hustle, but it's possible that she didn't know about his "kink" considering DOR was apparently on his best behaviour during The Fighter. Also, he reverted back to his old dirty ways once he started working with JLaw. So it makes sense that Adams would find out about his intentions while doing a movie with both him AND JLaw together.
Ever since The Fighter, DOR has been working with the same actors over and over again. Maybe those are the actors that don't care; he keeps hiring the same people since he already knows they'll not only tolerate his behaviour, but also remain silent about it. The entire cast of Joy is filled with people he worked with multiple times.
Based on the Sony hack, we know that DOR gave Adams a hard time during American Hustle. That fact, combined with this blind if it's true, explains the "war" on set. Seriously, if this blind is true, I'll be disappointed if Adams works with the guy again. As for JLaw, I think there's a lot more to her than the cute, bubbly, "dumb" person that people make her out to be. Not that she isn't any of those things, but she's far more complex than that.
I agree with kpist. Tarantino and Thurman.He has emails with Pasqual in the Sony hack too and his foot fetish is legendary. He is an odd, odd dude.

By all accounts, it's not love she was missing. She had that. But truly belonging? That, plus self-confidence, is what she wanted. In Hollywood, she's found Acceptance; she "fits," in other words.
Everything else, like buying a house in LA, after saying she'd never do so, flows from that.
This was my first though because she does pander to his needs in other ways- I've seen red carpet shots where she is in closed shoes but then changes shoes to an open strappy sandal for when she is photographed with him.

Adams was just in the news, rumors of her being uptight with Today staffers, Sony leak, etc., so, Enty does what he always does...take a news story, create a rumor. Remember, this is the same guy who claimed Robert Downey, Jr. was involved in a sec assault a few years ago in a hotel, claimed Emma Stone was doing drugs, among other rumors.
It's also not too difficult to believe that rival actresses,actors, publicists,studio heads, pay Enty to start rumors about successful actors, directors in order to hurt them. Oh, and as for Jennifer Lawrence for Chridt sake, don't even pretend that you know her well enough to know what defined her, or anything about her at all. Nobody does except family and friends and that goes for all celebrities.

Honestly, the nude photos didn't really look like the kind you would give a boyfriend. They were creepy and had a casting couch look to them. Do we know for sure that it was her cloud hacked or could it have been someone else's? There were too many shots of her semi-passed out and naked with friends.
If she is like this with Russell, God only knows what she did to get Weinstein to campaign so hard for her. SLP wasn't really an Oscar worthy performance. Weinstein bought it for her.
