While in Toronto he had personal police protection and a security detail provided by the studio because the actor has received numerous death threats because of things he has said regarding the conflict in the Middle East.

The fact that he's an activist is kind of appealing to me. Love smart guys. Of course I don't know what he stands for. I'm guessing he is anti-muslim fundamentalism which always sets that faction off.

Interestingly his comments were in support of those under siege in Gaza and therefore he was portrayed as being antisemitic.
