This aging Academy Award winning actor also had pretty good luck as a producer in that department was trying to hook up his actress wife with the offspring of an Academy Award winning movie actor who some guys really don't like because of who he is married to. We all wanted her for ourselves.

Not married but could see Sean Penn as hated for Charlize. Dylan seems a bit young for for CZJ.
Warren Beatty/Annette Bening for the guy trying to set his wife up? I cannot see Annette going for this but who really knows.

I found it confusing, as well.
I could be wrong but I take this to read that everyone doesn't like the second actor because they are jealous that he is married to his wife since Enty says, "We all wanted her for ourselves."
Well then that's Phoebe Cates for sure & Enty's era for the pool scene in FTARH.

Michael Douglas and CZJ for first couple.Tom Banks and Rita Wilson for second.MD's idea of a joke to line up his wife with a drug addict (CZJ already has to put up with MDs jailed son).MDs performance on SNL was abysmal - no irony or humour in his statement about being Hollywood royalty and a sex icon.
