This movie is so bad it would barely even make it On Demand despite having this B list mostly movie actress with A++ list name recognition starring in it. Well, no one has called her a good actress as of late, which is why she is doing other things. Anyway, a company that pays her a lot of money is paying for all the press and promotions so it will get a very tiny release before fading away. Our actress really needs a hit. Her opportunities though keep slipping away. She thinks she is a great actress. In no way shape or form should this be considered Lindsay Lohan.

So her best work is behind her? Pieces of April was actually pretty good I thought. Maybe she will surprise us at 60! a la Michael Keaton. Seems as though she is better than Kidman who reallly hit it in 1995's to die for and at least as talented as Mimi Rogers. Seemed like the first two survived Cruise Control (though I am a fan of Tommy)

Not every actor is meant to be in movies. Try cable, Katie. It's worked for real actors.
Apparently the movie is not that bad, it's rated 5.7 in imdb and 4.8 in filmaffinity (more reliable because of the fewer fanboys there). Bad movies are around 3 or less.

Miss Meadows
I didn't think Miss Meadows was that bad. It was definitely a different tone. With a better actress it could have been something very niche and interesting. I hate Jessica Chastain but I think she could have done something with Miss Meadows.
