PR move to help with awards season or the new fiance’ is already pregnant. Both are being discussed as reasons for a sudden engagement for this foreign born A- list film and television actor. No one expects it to last long enough to get to an actual wedding ceremony.

Years ago when working on the movie "Crimes of Passion," Anthony Perkins showed me that gay men can have it both ways: Married with Children and a Gay lover on the side.

Married with a gay lover on the side seems like everyone gets cheated. Would seem more fair if the woman decided to be part of the triangle, but it always seems the woman gets blindsided.

It is a great anecdote , but I wouldn't advocate cheating whether is one is gay/ straight/ BI etc, especially if married with kids. Don't care if it's the1950's or yesterday. It lacks honor and a kind of authenticity needed to have real character, which is what children deserve to look to in the people bringing then up. Period.
That's what I meant by "if it's all *copasetic" --wife knows & agrees/understands/maybe does her own thing/nobody is hurt by the arrangement/no one's the wiser/kids not affected;

Don't think Cumberbatch is gay, but it's clear he's just in this one for the baby. You'd think he'd know by now to wrap it before he taps it. That's an expensive lesson to learn the hard way. Oh well, better luck with your next wife, Benedict!
If the story about the rush to scrub Hunter's name off of high priced escort sites is true, I doubt that "cheating" can be applied to this situation.
In the history of humans and marriage, more children have been raised by cheaters than have not been raised by cheaters. I would hold off on making sweeping pronouncements on their parenting, authenticity and character.
