"TMZ reports that Lil Wayne was hospitalized once again after suffering a seizure. He was reportedly taken to Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles last night, where he was treated. He was released this morning.
Wayne has been hospitalized several times for seizures, most frighteningly in March, when he was allegedly in critical condition for almost a week. Wayne denies that the seizures are drug-related, saying he suffers from epilepsy.
"The bad news is, I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures," he explained in March. "This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures; y'all just never heard about it." "
If he is indeed epileptic, that's quite a coincidence since he's also addicted to sizzurp which can cause seizures. So as an epileptic, he should consider quitting the sizzurp.
