Blind Item #2

I don't think she could have got away with this two decades ago when she was at her peak, but there was this former A list singer this weekend who has not done much since then but some reality television and had a few legal issues. At an event she insisted that people only refer to her as Ms.__________. No first names. She even made the organizers of the charity event do the same thing

IDK, I think women past a certain age SHOULD be addressed as "Ms. --" rather than the first name. Men, too. I cringed when Darren Criss called Anna Wintour "Anna" during last night's Tony awards red carpet broadcast. Uh, that's Ms. Wintour to you, loser.

It's kind of a big deal if it is someone who markets themselves as a one name person... Like why market yourself like your comfortable being called by your first name only if you aren't ????

Not the answer, but for some reason when I read this I thought about the song lyric: "No my first name ain't baby -- It's Janet -- Ms. Jackson if you're nasty."

I was thinking of Janet Jackson, too! I bet she wanted everyone to call her by her husband's last name,
