This B list mostly television actor who is taking a run through that Broadway show that every B lister who can sing is trying wants everyone to think he is dating a woman. Umm. no. Plus, the woman he chose is the puppet for the puppet master. At least pick someone who is not being paid by your sometime boss.

Darren Criss. Yeah, he is gay, there has been lots of rumors during his time on Glee that Ryan Murphy didn't give him the role exactly for his singing and acting talent ;)

btw, while i do think that Criss is gay, and i can totally see Murphy as the " puppet master", i dk if this blind can be about Criss. First : B list? Maybe when the show was on, but now? And what does it mean: "sometime boss " ?
For the rest, yes, everthing fits, the beard payed from his boss, she " working" on Glee, and being promoted by Murphy people, even getting praises from L Michele, that maybe doesn't even praise herlself without reasons.
interesting to note that lately Murphy doesn't seem too much " into " Darren.

My guess is that this is a lie made up to look like it is Darren Criss.
That's honestly the only explanation I understand for why they put him centre-stage so often when he was easily one of the worst actors on that show and a boring singer on top of it.

C) no, he still might have Fox or Murphy as bosses, since contracts might last beyond the end of shows.
D) he has done more than one show, and btw, " mostly" means that he has done especially that, not that has done a lot of that,
