This is definitely Rita Hayworth. You must read her biography "If This Was Happiness". Her father sexually abused her. Her father was a vaudeville actor & dancer. His attempt at a film career went nowhere and he took Rita to Tijuana when she was 12, dressed her up to look older & passed her off as his wife. No joke. Her first husband who controlled her career & was abusive. Horrible, sad life she endured.
I read somewhere that Rita's daughter took care of her toward the end. She was so beautiful. Gilda is one of may favorite movies. Glen Ford, also in it, was one of my favorite actors.
Thi is so Rita Hayworth. Her real last name was Cansino, and it was known that her father sexually abused her and pimped her out. Hell he got her too bleach her skin, so she could pass as white.
Completely Rita, all her husbands were abusive also. Her mom was a Ziegfeld Girl too. Her parents were a vaudeville duo, when Rita got old enough she became her dads parents in the act and for sex.

@H2O, Rita H.s daughter is Yasmin Agha Kan & yes she cared for her throughout her Alzheimer's Disease as long as she could.Yasmin was also paramount in bringing the Disease to the forefront-she also was one of the 1st people to get alot of Fund Raisers & Charities started- she's raised Millions for the Cause.

Rita had electrolysis on her hairline when she was quite young, to raise her forehead. Before, her hair grew very low, like Teresa Giudice.
The studio did that among other things once they discovered her.
