This B- list mostly television actress has pretty much stayed in that position for her entire career. Sometimes she moves up slightly, but she has always been consistent and has been on one television show after the other. Some hits and some misses. She told producers she would walk off the set of her current show and quit if they attempted to make her a lesbian. Acting or not, she is dead set against it and it goes against her values.

And I would probably quit watching Rissoli & Isles if they did this anyway. But it is about time that she had SOME SORT of consistent love interest, I think. I really have always like this show, but it has become a bit "stale" this season.........
With all the starving actors out there who would kill to get where she is, she is going to pull this self entitled BS. Fire her @$$ and hire someone who understands what it means to be an ACTOR. You are PAID rather handsomely I might add to play make believe, if that is a problem then you really should rethink your career path.

Good for her. Whether I agree with her beliefs or not, its good to see someone believing in something and standing up for their beliefs without impinging on the beliefs of others.
Feh. I know a lot of actors who set limits on what they are or are not willing to do. Thirty years ago, Robbie Benson was very public avowing that he'd never smoke for a part. (He had a major heart condition at a very early age.) Lots of people have no nudity clauses, etc. If an actress isn't comfortable portraying a lesbian for whatever reasons, then she has a right to refuse to--especially if the fact that the character was a lesbian wasn't part of the initial agreement. Non story.
I suspect if you were an attentive watcher of "Rizzoli & Isles," you'd be able to spell "Rizzoli."
Have you WATCHED Rizzoli and Isles? The main demographic for their audience are lesbians. They have skirted around it so much, and even both actresses have joked about ad-libbing in innuendos. The show is consistently described as the "gayest straight show on television." The only way that R&I would break the suck-barrier is to hook them up. They're already in a committed relationship with one another. And, please...I've had a crush on Harmon since friggin' Baywatch Nights. Her core fanbase is lesbians, and she has been pretty friendly to the LGBT community, even as a Republican. Just the fence, Ange...it's just acting.
Yeah...the lines some people draw are very wavy, even tortuous.
Let's be honest. They were going to make both leads gay and in a relationship. If that happened, R&I wouldn't 'jump the shark', it would jump the whole GD ocean!

And, she's been living with a lady friend who may or may not be a nanny in L.A.. Sorry but this woman pings off the charts on Gaydar. Conservative, sure maybe fiscally.

Maybe she just doesn't want to be romantically involved, even for pretend, with a woman. I'm grossed out by the idea of being intimate with a woman, it has nothing to do with my opinion on homosexuality as much as kissing a woman, and old man, or someone I find really unattractive just grosses me out. I know actresses are expected to kiss much older men, much less attractive men, and women if it's the story line but she has boundaries on who she touches. Doesn't mean she thinks everyone should live that way.
