Blind Item #4

This B+/A- list mostly movie actress who is a celebrity offspring says that every single day she tries to think of a way to not film the next installment of her franchise because she hates it and her co-star so much.

Not even sure why this is blind . . . gotta be 50 Shades.

They both hate it.

What I really would love to know is why Johnson and Dornan hate each other so much!!!

Well Johnson at least played it off well in interviews. She was cute and seemed to enjoy herself. Dornan not so much. He came off as a miserable hen-pecked man! I guess Johnson is the better actor!

This can't be Dakota. She loves the fame and would do anything to be noticed, even that horrible comedy franchise 50 shades........... Though I still think E. L. James should take over Dakota's role, you know she wants to.

Everyone knows the ONLY person looking for fame in this situation is the one who wasn't even IN the movie. Amelia Warner -- aka Move-On-Millie -- wanted fame and money and pushed her pussywhipped husband -- who can't act his way out of a wet paper bag -- into FSOG. He was awful. And the two of em couldn't be less professional if they tried. Now that she's pregnant again maybe they'll just go away. Far, far away.

Call me crazy. But once you work opposite Depp, Swinton, Feinnes and Schoenaerts -- it's embarrassing to work with DORNAN. Dakota Johnson has a REAL career to nurture and protect. If Dornan could act one might argue doing it for the money. But FSOG didn't pay those actors shit. When STJ left she needed to drop FSOG and Dornan.

That's a good question.. Bet the answer is MUCH better than this blind.

You're one of those mentally deficient fans of the Dornan-Johnson team. It shows. Lol! I think you're the one who should move on. Go to school. Go study. It might improve your emotional and mental stuntedness.

I may be "stunted" but its not for Dornan..

Truth be told, Dakota is the breakout star of a lousy franchise. Yet, she made something of her part in it. Good on her. I wish her nothing but the best. I don't think she hates Dornan, but I'm sure she wishes he would make her life easier during promos and red carpet appearances by not constantly droning on about his family. She was clearly the professional the last go around. Lets hope Dornan can up his acting and manners so he doesn't make himself and the franchise look worse than it already does to many. Oh, and keep the wife under control. Lol

Based on recent experience -- Move-on-Millie isn't a go-along to get-along kinda gal. And with another Cannuck baby whilst filming on the way -- neither a good performance nor a reasonable Premiere season is possible. There's TOO MUCH past experience and baggage for this to work. Dornan never should have taken the role. Particularly with a wife who was clearly NOT in the game. Tell me. What's different this time around?

Dornan can act, have you scene the series he is in with Gillian Anderson? It's called The Fall. He was so good in that, but then he did that 50 Shades crap.....

Nyet. Isvinite. Watched it. He hardly had 3 maybe 4 lines. Mostly tying up and killing women. Oh. And painting fingernails. Yuck. Not much dialogue.

Funny tho. How GOOD Dakota Johnson was in that "crap". Don't take my word. Read the fucking critics. Dornan was less than impressive.

Since then she's been in TWO well received films. With respected scripts, good directors and GREAT casts.

I also really like The Fall Dutch. Dornan has a few good films coming up too, doesn't he?

These two actors knew what they were getting into when they took the part, now they just have to suck it up. I don't think Dakota hates Jamie, to me it seemed the other way around. Do they regret taking the roles, I'm going to assume yes. I do feel that Dakota tried to make it work in interviews, but Jamie seemed distant, embarrassed and overall not into it, so instead of talking up the movie, he spoke about his personal life way to much. They should have cast a single man as Christian Grey. While co-stars don't have to love one another or even like one another they should be supportive of each other. Hopefully the TPTB spoke to Jamie and his people and told him they need more from him and to stop the "I am a great family-man" agenda he had going on the first time around.

Good luck with that... Dornan won't stop talking about his family. Especially now that his wife is preggers with #2. Which just coincidentally will be birthed during the sequels filming. Hahaha. Just in time to ruin another performance.

Amelia Warner made life miserable on set and during the Premieres for Dakota Johnson. And Millie has a large coterie of "friends" who believe their job to "protect Millie at all costs" means harassing, trolling and cyber-bullying Dakota Johnson. She must literally feel concerned for her safety and sanity. Those people are hard-core crazies. There was a recent pic of DJ floating around Millie-fan-sites with a red-line drawn across DJ's throat. Fucking psychopaths.

Either replace Dornan with an actual actor -- like Hunnam who talks endlessly about being REALLY sorry he dropped-out -- or Dakota should bolt. No one should put up with the harassment that girl has withstood. Or be burdened with a bad actor in a very uncomfortable movie.

P.S. She DIDN'T know the sequels would get made. Nor did she know they would fire Sam Taylor-Johnson. Working with Sam -- and her vision of the story and role -- is why DJ took it on. Now that Sam's gone -- all bets are off. She comes from a LONG LINE of movie actresses who are fearless in the face of studio pressure. JS.

Wow, reading all this comments about Amelia Warner, is she really that evil or people are just hating on her because she's married to Jamie Dornan and therefore is ruining the chances of him hooking up with Dakota?
About Johnson, I never got the vibe that she hated the franchise. Not as much as Jamie seems to do at least. Maybe that's because she actually got good reviews. Good luck trying to bail the project.

SPOT ON Camila. Everyone who doesn't like Amelia Warner is just crying cause Jamie and Dakota are not running away together. OR MAYBE.. Some are relieved the studios are trying to replace him. You know. With a REAL actor. That would be refreshing. js.

From what I heard, Amelia made everything impossible for this movie. She was on set almost every single day and she was extremely rude during the premieres. Some fans that were at the Berlin one said that Jamie and her had an argument, cause she was tired of waiting for him to take pics with everybody. I don't think Dakota hates Jamie but I do think she feels uncomfortable to work with someone who doesn't give a shit about their movie. You're an actor, at least pretend you care! I feel bad for Dakota, I really do. She tries to be friendly, like she's always talking great things about him and Amelia, but she gets nothing. I thought maybe she was the problem, but everyone who works with this girl loves her. So I don't blame her, it must suck to know that you have to work with Jamie Dornan again, after had worked with professional people.

Jamie Dornan wasn't the worst actor in FSOG. That honor goes to Rita Whora. Charlie Hunnam would have been great in the CG role.

While I do think there are a lot of "fans" wishing Dakota and Jamie get together (never happening) there are rumors from far back that Amelia is not the warmest person around. I mean I get as a wife seeing your husband all over some other actress, even though its a movie, has to be extremely hard. But Jamie and his wife went into this knowing what the books were about. Since Colin, there have been rumors that once Amelia set her sights on you she will do everything and anything to make sure you stay. She says she hates the spotlight, but then all she dated and got engaged to were people in the public eye.

Amelia did seem very stand offish and almost annoyed at the premiers. At one point Dakota did go up to her and she seemed annoyed. If anything I think Dakota might feel uncomfortable, especially if her co-stars wife is not happy about their scenes.

I for one don't think I would have been comfortable with my husband taking this part. I think both Jamie and his wife knew this would push him into the spotlight in a big way and that's what they wanted. But then seeing your husband naked with another woman, even though it's acting, may be a little too much. Throw in a bunch of crazy fans and I'm sure it's not fun. The old line, "Watch what you wish for" rings true in this scenario.

Ditto. FSOG is a fiasco. Not sure if the studios-PR are behind the hype. Except you'd think they'd be milking it in a different way. Dornan isn't a horrible actor. Watching FSOG one gets the sense his timing is off. Like he listens too intently to actually hear his cue. So he's either reacting before the cue or after the moment has passed. Her timing is perfect. She really has a gut for acting.
Never got the sense she didn't like him. Tho' the wife has a very bad rep as not a nice person. Takes all kinds. Studio must be concerned core fans are being exhausted and turned-off. Times are tuf in HW these days. The playbook may not be as effective as in past. Tally-ho.
