Ok, that Shia guy seems pretty much a troubled person, with a f***ed up personality, but there is no " made his gf" do a certain thing, he MIGHT have asked, and she did it. if she wasn't convinced AND there was no phisical force used, then she was free to say no, say screw you and leave.

When I was in my 20s in LA, I remember having an innocent conversation at a party with a guy I'd just been introduced to.
