This actress was A list at the peak of her fame. She was a multiple Academy Award winner/nominee. Some of my all-time favorite Hollywood stories are about her. This studio owner who is more famous for what he did outside the studios used to sleep with her regularly. When he would try and pass her off to his friends though she would always refuse so he would put her in bad movies or keep her from not working. There was one particular incident where he wanted her to have sex with another woman and she refused so he told her she couldn’t do a lead role she really wanted and made her do a tiny tiny part in a movie. He thought it would make her furious. It did, but she ended up getting nominated/winning an Academy Award. She would often wear a hat while having sex because she didn’t want men to be turned off by her face which she always hated. The story for which she is most well known involved her sleeping with her husband’s son when he was still in elementary school and then later in life marrying him.

Well, she wasn't the typical Hollywwod Beauty, but she had a face like Bette Davis, both not conventionally attractive, but interesting faces AND strong characters.
In the case of Bette Davis more of MAGNETIC face, with those eyes..." she got Bette Davis eyes"

I always thought she was someone who really depended on the proper camera angle to look her best. If it was right she looked gorgeous, if it wasn't she didn't.
She slept with her stepson when he was in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL? Like, between the ages of 5 and 12??
according to wiki it started when he was 13 and her husband busted them in be together...awkward!

And Nicholas only schtupped the 16 year old Natalie Wood for "business purposes."
This is the part that stands out to me the most...no one else is shocked and disgusted over the fact she was a pedophile??? Kind of makes me not care that she got bit roles if she didn't put out when she was a predator herself of seriously underaged boys.
mgm produced the bad and the beautiful. howard hughes wasn't the head of mgm. he didn't have any say in mgm at all.
