This almost A list mostly movie actor is doing lots of press for his new film. It should catapult him to A list, but it is a shaky way to be an A lister. Anyway, in the background you may have noticed a very familiar looking woman. Maybe you thought to yourself she is a PR person, either for the actor or for the studio. Nope. She is a very plain looking, nondescript looking woman because she hides her features to some extent by using wigs and also wearing baggy clothing. One day she might be a blonde and the next day a brunette, but she is always there. The face never changes, but the accouterments do. She is known as The Assistant. Seriously, just like that with the caps and everything. She gets paid a lot of money to do one thing and that is to make the person she is working for happy. They are always big box office movies. These are movies that cost a ton of money to make and need a lot of press and a lot of commitments from the star. The Assistant is paid by the studio and she is not cheap. She costs about $25K a day and has a minimum fee of 30 days. She is generally hired when the guy, and it is always guys she works with is single and been known to get in trouble with drugs and booze or has a problem with getting caught up with too many women, or not showing up to places on time. The Assistant keeps him on schedule. Very little or no drinking. She keeps him away from other women and clubs. She gets him to the right place at the right time in the right clothes. She is his mealtime companion and his bedtime companion. She never leaves his side the entire time. She makes herself look different each day so the actor doesn't have to answer questions about a girlfriend. She never looks the same two days in a row. Often she can go a week without looking remotely the same. Some people say she used to work for the FBI or the CIA with the way she can change her appearance but others say she is just an actress who could change her look but wasn't a very good actress on screen.

The woman is well known (forgot her name) and is in a lot of pictures and at premieres with him, even joking and adjusting his hair, etc. She has long blonde hair and wears glasses. Not aware of the wigs and costumes and don't buy the CIA/FBI background, that's jus embellishment. I think she's a strong woman who keeps him in line; he's already acknowledged he hired people to make sure he doesn't do stupid things. I don't buy the bedmates either (though I couldn't blame her!), unless she is literally tucking him in and being mommy until he falls asleep -- he has issues. She is on maternity leave at the moment and bae is not going to be happy about this -- dirtying this woman's presence in his life.

$750,000/month?! That's a very highly-paid babysitter. They could probably find one just as efficient for around $75,000/year.
So how exactly does she keep him out of trouble when he goes off the rails. Is she just so hot and down to satisfy all his needs, carnal or otherwise, they he will naturally not want to go out and get any strange or party out of control?

seriously this is one sweet gig, especially if there is no need to sleep with clients

I doubt it...to know the right people, have him in the right clothes, manage to fend off groupies, grease the right wheels so he's always at the right places looking and acting right and surrounded by the right people, etc you have to be someone who is sophisticated and smart and is very, very connected. That type of person garners much more than a nanny's salary for a regular kid.

Laninna knows what they're talking about. The blonde haired woman with glasses who was at the London premiere of Winter Soldier is also in pictures of the first or second day of Age of Ultron press, but looking heavily pregnant. She went off to have a baby and he went off the rails during AOU press.
I got curious about her a while back and googled her (I really need to get off the internet) and I'll be damned if I can remember her name now, but she has a history in marketing and PR and now she works for a pretty big PR company. I know this is one of those 'believe me I know what I'm talking about I promise' situations but if I can remember her name I'll come back, or if anyone has access to imdb pro she's probably not difficult to find
