A little out of character for this former A+ list mostly movie actress turned A lister. The doorman at her hotel tried to open door to the car which was there to pick her up. Our actress yelled at him that she could open her own door. Our actress got inside the car and then yelled at him to close her door for her.

I still like the passenger car door (or other public door) opened for me by a gentleman if the situation is appropriate ...call me old fashioned..
I am going to guess JLaw -- because there was a Blind Reveal a while back that reported that she told a NY Hotel doorman to F**K Off! when he greeted her with: Have a Nice Day!
Maybe if she farted more in public, she'd feel better. :-)

In this case, it was less about gender and more about service, in my opinion. A doorman opens car doors for everyone.
