This foreign born B- list mostly television actress/part-time singer who was on a hit almost network show had a three month fling with this married almost A+ list mostly movie actor when they worked together not that long ago. His marriage almost ended because of it. He wrote her a very big check to make all her memories disappear.

Why would he write a check to the whore? if his wife already knew he cheated, he is better off spending the money on the wife.
this made me immediately think of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...don't know if anyone in that movie would qualify. Kirsten Dunst? As she been in anything? Maybe just similar wording signifying a different clue.
so it wouldn't go public and embarrass the wife and make the actor look like a dickhead.
