Ticket sales have been surprisingly low. Really low. You can’t cancel shows by saying that though, so the medical excuse is always better. Makes people feel sorry for you. That is what this A- list singer is hoping for anyway.

You ever get the feeling this Enty doesn't like Kelly much?
I gotta say, American Idol alums seem to have about a year, maybe two to make as much money as possible. There are way too many manufactured pop stars saturating the market for any actual people to make a living. Starting with Spears all the way up to Grande. Autotune is greater than talent in the 21st century.

Except AI singers have to sing live on the show, they don't get autotune. And Kelly is a good singer

Any pop star should make sure they bank most of their money because it's pretty much guaranteed to be a short run. Of course most of them don't save or invest well and end up on reality shows.
Kelly can write and sing huge power ballad/anthem songs. She'll eventually come back with a song with a great hook and be back on the charts. Right now pop music is leaning towards hip hop/electronica and song producers get as much credit as the singers do. I think she has at least one more wave of popularity iin her, maybe just not right now.
That's what I meant. People with actual talent can't make a living while plastic jerkwads singing into an app get an audience.
She had the Heartbeat Song, was that this year or last?

You mean the Jimmy Eat World song she plagiarised?
She has a lot of hit songs, but she never could sell concert tickets. She doesn't "pop" live like the other girl pop singers do.

She could play smaller venues. I think that she might have legitimate reasons especially with her pregnancy.
