What was the film? I don't think it's on her IMDb page.
She was up for the role of Helen Lawson ultimately played by Susan Heyward) in Valley of The Dolls and you can see in her screen test she was high as a kite.
The irony of it is that Patti Duke's character is supposedly Judy Garland which would have been something to have her in the movie.

Might be Valley of the Dolls - Garland was originally cast in the role that Susan Hayward eventually played.
