Is it just me or is it now worded that the group could not sing?
That is the way it's written, the group could not sing. But I believe the Entern means the A list singer couldn't sing.

No,no, Melanie C. (Sporty Spice) is the only one who can really sing, the others couldn't carry a tune in a paper bag. This blind is about Nicole Scherzinger, who used to beard for that racer and who recorded ALL the vocals for Pussycat Dolls.
If I remember correctly, the African American girl in PCD had an even better voice than Nicole's.
it come across to me like he's saying the group can't actually sing, they were a novelty group known more for other things. it could be nicole scherzinger. she's actually a really good singer, but pussycat dolls was definitely more of a novelty striptease band that went on tour instead of performed at strip clubs. that's my thought.
