This B list mostly movie actress who is only that high because of her name and not because of her stellar movie career still has A+ list name recognition. She was doing promo shoots for a bunch of products to make a few bucks but was just grumpy the entire time. No smiles. Just one product after the other in her hands until she finished.

Whaaaaaaaa?!? What happened to her Tommy Girl money?!?! I guess TC didn't give her a large settlement after all.
I thought she didnt accept a lot of money from him. This way she could just get her daughter the hell away from the cult.
I think she made a calculated move and got away from the Sci franchise. Their lawyers swooped in and made sure she got minimal funds for her "backstabbing ways on their boy" and she doesn't have to see him ever again and lives happily ever after ??? I'm guessing one doesn't divorce the star Scientologist and still get paid.

Honestly, say what you will about Katie Holmes. They day she decided to take her daughter away from that mindf*ck that is cruise and his religion was the day I had major respect for her.
She got exactly what the pre-nup that her lawyer father hammered out demanded, which was substantial. She didn't fight for more so that she could keep the kid and not have to deal with Miss Cruise and the cult in court.
Agree with @Malibu. Her real estate purchases alone, post TC, are very pricey - she would need major ducats to cover her bicoastal lifestyle, IMHO.
Katie Holmes should be thanking her lucky stars people still give her acting jobs. Not that she will ever need the money, but without TC she would have been long forgotten
Which is why she married Tom to begin with - she thought it would help her career. She was probably hoping to become the next Nicole Kidman. Unfortunately, she can't act.

Well she has a clause i. Her dIvorce agreement that after x amount of years of her finances aren't great she can go back and get more $$ from tom. The time is now she is negotiating now covertly which is why tom has been selling off assets for last year
Actually Tom thought she shouldn't do part 2 of Batman because the character was killed off. Not because of her acting.

I have no first-hand knowledge of her divorce settlement but this does not sound right. This way, every irresponsible spouse can hit the rich ex for money after the divorce. I doubt Tommy girl is going to support her financially, his daughter for sure, but not his ex
