'WAYF' was a not the only reason he started using heavy again.
He is being torn between his beard and his B/F to make a decision.
They both hate one another. Zac had to take separate vacations with them.
Zac is still using drugs and is going deeper into the closet . His gf Sami is just a beard.

He should worry about his dwindling and suffering career rather than fake photo ops with his fake gf. Why would he be torn between his so called bf and beard? If she's a beard than that's what she's paid to do..keep it moving and keep it quiet. He's becoming irrelevant anyway...his golden days have past. No need to hide if there is anything to hide.

Zac is afraid his career will be over if he dumps another beard and does not look straight .
He has sex with guys but keeps one that he really cares about. They had a blow out orgy last summer in Europe .
His B/F cleaned up his act and is trying to get Zac to do the same thing.
I actually think it could *help* his career if he came out. Heaven knows, he'd be happier.
