Is this wishful thinking on Enty's part or something? If you know what I mean.
How is Zoe B+? She's A or A- with Avatar and Gaurdians!
Who thought it was a good idea to cast Zoe as Nina Simone in the first place? She's a decent actress, I won't get into Enty's rating because it doesn't matter.
*LOL* You don't earn an A rating just by showing up in a successful movie (see: Daisy Ridley). I'd personally rate Zoe no higher than B, but Enty is not too far off on this one.
She's a decent actress, but playing Nina Simone calls for way better than that.
Kim are you Zoe's sister?
Not only is she barely a decent actress... does she sing...cause she looks nothing like Nina. Why didn't they pick Jennifer Hudson...who is a decent actress, can sing, and closer in looks.
I like Zoe's acting anb I agree with Kim. She does a good job in those rolls but I knew when they cast her in this Nina Simone movie it would be a mistake. I blame the director. She wanted her but if you have to Wear blackface to make a movie considering you are already black than it won't work. Feel sorry for Zoe.
Jennifer Hudson is no closer in looks to Nina than Zoe is lol
If we talk about having the right" look" for the part, and even for attitude and her regality, i think Erykah Badu would have been perfect for the part of Nina. Don't know about the acting, too.

and I also like Viola Davis for the role but don't think she can sing. Hell, I will take Diana Ross for the damn role. Anyone else before Zoe! Of course, Enty may be referring to a bad script.

Zoe is NOT African American she is Hispanic, Her father was Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. So yes she is going black face which makes it more of an insult the culture.
Didn't she film this movie years ago, it has to be sitting on a shelf for a reason. It sucks.
You can be any race and be black.
I don't know how Zoe has a career. She stunk in Guardians of the Galaxy. She's a terrible actress.
