Unless you were someone who could do her a favor, this Emmy winner won the biggest pain in the butt award last night. Before she won she thought she was better than you, but now that she has won, she has taken it to an entirely different level. At several events last night and the awards itself she refused to mingle or interact unless the person was higher on the food chain than herself. For someone who likes to talk the game about how she is down to earth, she is far far from it. No one came away from last night with any like at all about her.

I can say this becuz I'm Jewish but she's a Jewish American Princess (which basically means she's a snob ) from a wealthy, prominent family.

I guess I'm way behind the times, but I'd never even heard of this woman until shortly before Trainwreck came out. I find shock humor incredibly lazy.

I'd like to go on record as having never gotten her appeal and being irritated by having her shoved in my face everywhere for months. She's crass.

I don't know, when you're tripping and falling in front of Kimye as a joke or posing naked without caring about the backlash you may get, I find it hard to believe she's a snob that thinks she's better than everyone. Maybe everyone in Hollywood is ridiculous and she didn't want to be bothered with their nonsense unless she had to.

She's networking in a business situation - and her business is the hard elbows, un-female friendly comedy world. So she's not Mother Theresa; Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Larry David - they get to be funny and human too - why not Amy Schumer?
If we keep holding successful women to a higher standard than achieving men, we won't have any!
Comedic actresses have ups and downs. She is up now but will be down in 15 minutes or so and probably back on the standup circuit.
This doesn't surprise me. I get a snotty vibe from her. I think she and Jennifer are just using each other anyway, Amy likes being associated with a much more famous and much younger actress. Jennifer gets to be thought of as a funny smart comedy screenwriter to differentiate herself from other 20 somethings.
oh amy schumer. we were at a stand up comedy act with her, jim norton, artie lang and dave attel, and she was the only one who didnt stick around for signings and pictures she went straight to her room! we got to hang out with dave after he is really cool!
And not terribly funny. She does hit once in a while, but not nearly enough for her to have the following she does. I guess kids today have been raised on unfunny reality TV and bad sitcoms, and therefore never heard really, REALLY good comedy.
Both instances you stated here are blatant and desperate "look at me!" tactics for press coverage. And they worked.
If you don't fall for her (terrible) act, you can see that she's a complete bitch in interviews

There are a lot more blinds here about men behaving like entitled, arrogant asses than there are blinds about women doing the same thing although there is no shortage of women doing the same thing.
Schumer's awful. JoeJack has the best description of her I've seen. God knows what her you-know-it's-coming plastic surgery will do to her weird, cabbage patch doll face.

Her cousin is long time NY senator Chuck Schumer. To me she is just another manufactured star from an elite family with lots of connections.....who looks like a bitchy cabbage patch doll.
I do not think she is funny, and she's not even a nice person, it pays to have a prominent family, her uncle is a Senator.
Saw Trainwreck and was disappointed. It wasn't as funny as I had expected. It was over-rated.
I agree. I thought Trainwreck was just awful. I didn't see it all. I went to the theater and got about halfway through then left because nothing about it amused me.
