This former B list mostly television actress turned movie of the week mainstay turned do nothing turned reality star is hiding money from her celebrity husband. Lots of it. She knows there will be a divorce and she has set herself up so she will have plenty of money that he doesn’t think exists. She is a better actress than I gave her credit for.

Unfortunately, this strategy backfires.
My brother's ex-wife tried this during their divorce and my brother's attorney -- who is an experienced divorce lawyer who represented husbands -- knows this strategy very well.
The attorney was able to get the judge to authorize a search for all accounts in all the local banks, investment firms, and financial institutions, etc.
The companies comply with the request because they don't want the potential legal hassle they would face if they are in fact harboring -- even unintentionally -- potential divisible spousal money.
She's better put the money in someone else's name. I'm sure is attorney will hire a forensic accountant to find it all. Dean is so gross and lazy!
If mom has possession of Tori's hoard of junk and backs her up, that this is re-payment for the money she lends her to live on.. this will work.. Her husband only contributed another mouth to feed and worry over.. his gravy train role advantage as awful husband and lazy moocher is terminated
Her behavior is really disgusting. She is no better (or worse than him). He may be a moocher, but so is she. Remember her X'mas "I'm so poor I can't buy my kids presents" tweet thanking toy cos for "helping her kids" and then going into the rub & tug for hours while her kids waited? Yuck.
It amazes me how there are always blinds about her money problems and her mom has hundreds of millions (and says she pays for all of their essentials but just won't write them a blank check.)
No but I was just thinking that this explains all the stories about how broke she is and all of the comments are from people who can't believe that she's really broke and are confused how because she works... A bit. This explains it all and the Am/Ex bill.
From what I can remember ..I believe she owed AMEX $38,000 back in July and finally sent a check for a little over $1,000. That check bounced.

Her mother pays for rent, food, and kids private school. Probably buys the kids clothes too. Tori could be giving her money to the Guncles or other close friends.
Rich people hide it abroad, where US courts have zero jurisdiction. When rich people get divorced, they don't move fast. They spend months, perhaps more than a year, hiding money. Its relatively easy to "lose" the money via investment, only said investment is actually an offshore holding company. On an accounting spreadsheet it shows up as a "loss" or a liability, when in actuality it is an asset. You can lose money in a foreign investment, when you actually own the foreign investment. Offshore banks don't have to disclose who owns them, so they never appear as part of joint property.
I think in regards to us, she's broke. But she always has more money than the average person has and Dean knows it.
As someone else brought up before,Tori's also a partner with Ryan Seacrest,Rob Lowe,Jeff Proust et al.in IDG-(Innovative Dining Group)-one of the most successful Restaurant Groups going.. so,she is full of crap with the poor me act,as usual.

@backagain, I didn't know that either. What is wrong with these people? The Spellings are hands down the greediest people in Hollywood. You NEVER read about them for any other reason, other than trying to rip off the help by making them work during their state mandated break periods, even though Candy is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, or selling everything and anything as a pathetic "reality" show for $$$$, now, trying to hide assets from her husband (Tori). I hope Dean gets every cent he's entitled to from these greedy monsters and then runs for the hills. Do these monsters give a penny to charity? Aaron Spelling and his talent are being forgotten in these greedy monsters pitiful grab for every cent they can get of HIS money.
Also, it's Tori's fault she got married without a prenup. She was trying to say she was about "true love" then, but she's just as greedy as her pathologically greedy mother. Dean is legally entitled to half, and should get some excellent forensic accountants to go after the money that he is entitled to, that these sickening women are deliberately hiding from him. Given these womens track record of untrammeled GREED at its worst, the Judge will throw the book at Tori's latest "I'm poor (but hiding assets) SCHEME and FRAUD.

-There are no words of the disgust I felt when I read about her thanking the Toy Co.s for DONATING toys to HER kids at Xmas time..I couldn't give 2 sh*ts about these people but i find it abhorrent that Talk Shows & Channels,etc.still allow them on to promote/sell their schtick.It's simply not right.I just hope her blatent fraud gets exploited in a very big way very,very soon & before the kids wholly pick up on her traits.

@backagain. I feel the same way; total disgust at anyone who would "donate" anything to Tori. That is beyond stupid, and leaves more hidden money she can spend on spa days for HERSELF. And her even more greedy mother aiding and abetting THE LIE. She's defrauding Amex and anyone who donates anything to her, pure and simple. Buyer beware with these off the charts greedy bunch.
Tori's family money was the point of the exercise for Dean. The Kfed 2.0 scumbag will have the best forensic accountants up Tori's ass with a microscope when they split.
We can only hope that the kids spend most of their time with trained, professional nannies.
