I guess I don’t blame her. She has been living his life for a lot of years now. I can’t even imagine how many millions of dollars she has spent on her husband to get him out of gambling debts and debts involving his relationships with other women. She says the right things publicly, but privately, there will probably be books written about her relationship that will be a complete 180 of the public perception. The problem is those books are a long way down the road. She has a team that is world class at keeping 95% of the bad stuff out of the press. Ironclad non disclosure agreements and the ruthless enforcement of them makes it very hard to learn anything about what goes on inside the home of this foreign born permanent A list singer. One thing that has leaked is that our singer has, for several years had a relationship with a person who shares her bed. The person travels with her and is there with her 24/7. Within the confines of the house or hotel room on the road they have had a passionate love affair that both seem to love. Apparently it is the one steady in her life. The one thing that gets her through each day that are usually not that great. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the future. How it plays out when it would not ruffle any feathers or throw an opinion out to the world that is contrary to what the world sees now.

It has been whispered that the reason she bought the house right next door to her original house that she and Rene own in Lake Las Vegas was so she had a sanctuary.
And, he had been terminally ill for a long, long time.

I think there's a line to be drawn. If she went to such lengths to restrict access, at some point, it's OK to give up & allow her her privacy.
Then again, I don't get ravenous about minute personal relationship details between committed or married celebrities, so WTF do I know?
Criminal, reaching the public sector, resulting in arrest or lawsuit, smarmy activity involving children and/or violence - that's worth a read.
What two people decide to keep between themselves in a successful marriage, I don't care about. She covered his debts by mutual agreement. To me, that's not scandalous.

Gossip doesn't have to be necessarly" scandalous", sometime is something curious, sometime is about drinking problems, cheating, sometime about covering up about being in the closet.

While I do think it's bad timing on this one, I just keep wondering is there any relationship/marriage involving someone famous that doesn't involve cheating?

Gossip is gossip no matter when it's put out. Didn't Celine and Rene meet while he was married. They were having an affair weren't they?? What I don't get is why did she stay in this marriage especially if Rene was committing adultery? Never believed that he was innocent when there were complaints about him.
I doubt it. She's lived in a tightly controlled shell since she was 12. I googled images and there are zero candid shots of her. I doubt that will really change until her kids are old enough to get out of the cocoon and speak about it.
Everyone is fair game in the gossip world when you choose a public life.

That being said, this man left his previous wife for her when she was still basically a child. He's all she's ever known so how do you change your mind when you don't have the luxury because he has completely tied himself into your personal and professional life?

That's what I felt from this entry too, that the permanent A list foreign born singer (Celine of course), was in a relationship with another female.
I'd hear about his cheap flings (or attempts... women aren't very responsive to his attempts to cheat because he's gross) and I never understood why she stayed with grandpa. GROSS!

No. Civilisation is about respect of death. Unless he was hitler, you respect the mourning. There's family and kids, most of the dead meat in a coffin is far away from being a saint, but there's a week or to two that should be respected.
