Not "technically" of age? She's of age or she's not. He's exploiting a minor or he's not. I don't see room for a technicality.
"Technically of age" means that she is 18, yes, but that the other person is significantly older and possibly in a position of power or authority over her (such as an executive on her show).
I think the "technically" of age is that while she is under 18, she is an emancipated minor so she has the capacity to make decisions as an adult.
Ahhh right I forgot about that. Does that actually count in terms of statutory rape?
