Today's Blind Items - Child Lost
About a decade ago, this band really took off and made it big. They were everywhere. They still exist, but at the time, they were huge. The most famous person in the group is not the lead singer. He is probably a B+ list celebrity at this point, but back then he was A-/A. More of the A variety when he was involved with at the time an A list celebrity/"singer"/reality star. Before she came into the picture though, our celebrity got a groupie pregnant. He was there for the birth and that was it. He basically accused her of getting pregnant on purpose and trying to get money from him. He made her life hell to collect child support. He wanted her to stay out of the court system and would call her and her friends and scream and yell about her and at her to try and take a really low number. Eventually they settled. He would call her or her friends out of the blue every so often to just trash her whenever he was in that kind of mood. The sad thing is the child died at the age of two of lead poisoning. Our celebrity never said anything or offered any condolences. Nothing.

This should be revealed. A grown ass man who makes a pregnancy entirely a woman's fault (hello? where was your dick at the time?) and then treats the mother and child like dirt is the lowest scum there is.

Assley isn't the one who got pregnant -- it was the groupie he was involved with before he met Assley.

Seems he was the "good guy" in his and Asslee's break up--a good father, etc.
But this makes him out to be a real SCHMUCK.
Even if the groupie "tricked" him into getting her preggers... Still.
This is totally Pete Wentz and he is terrible if this is true...but also, who dies of lead poisoning now-a-days?! that just seems fishy to me and makes the situation even sadder.
Dude got lucky he only had to support the kid for two years. I despise women who use their uterus like an ATM & men who stick their unwrapped dicks in shady tricks. None of these people had the baby's best interest at heart. They all suck.
Even after the child died, this POS continues to call and harass the mom?! She needs to record these and press charges.

Another vote for Travis and Paris. Blink 182 were huge and now he's just not. Plus he's proven to be a far from a nice guy.
I don't know about 10 years ago, but they check for lead regularly at the pediatrician these days.
If this Blind is meant to be Pete Wentz which I'm sensing it might be with Enty's comment "whenever he was in that kind of mood" referring to Pete being bipolar,then this is Bullsh*t-a made up blind.This flies in the face of his history back in '03-'05.He writes about his struggles then & his suicide attempt & he met Aslee in early '06.
-But aside from that he was brought up in a family that supported children's rights & fought their causes.
-His grandfather was the U.S. Ambassador to Sierra Leone.(btw,his grandfather's cousin is Colin Powell..lil' tidbit of trivia)..and Pete was involved w/ Invisible Children Inc.& i know he did stuff w/Save The Children,mb anonomously.
-I also think that this is VERY suspect since it's coinciding with the 'Lead Poisoning Of Children-It's In The Water Fiasco' going on in Flint,Michigan right now.

Travis Barker is the most famous of the group now, but was he back then? When I think of Blink-182 I think of Mark Hoppus first usually.

The only thing I don't get, and I know everyone says Enty's ratings suck, but would Pete Wentz EVER have been A list? And B now? NO fuckin' way. If it is Wentz, I just gotta say, I was giving Enty slack on the ratings, but that's BS. I'd never put him past C, and that's even a stretch.

I don't think it's Pete even if that's what entward wants us to believe. Travis barker is a great guess. He's the only person in his band I can name and he did stick it in Paris! Plus, his fights with his ex were fairly brutal.
I have to question how this is still not known though if the child has since passed away. You'd think it would have come out- if my child died I'd have no f*cks left to give and would take that asshole to task.

First of all, how do you even know she intended to get pregnant? There are tons of women who don't intend to get pregnant but do and then keep the baby anyway. Maybe she didn't want to get an abortion? Maybe she did but found but found out too late? Maybe her chances of having children were low and this might have been her only chance? Hell, maybe she just plain wanted the thing with or without the father's involvement. I don't see anything here that suggests that she didn't have the child's best interests at hear; only your speculation that she 'used her uterus like an ATM', as you so misogynistically put it.
The real scum here is the guy who not only didn't pay a penny for the child HE helped impregnate (yes, this may shock you, but it does indeed take more than a woman to conceive a baby) but also hurled abuse at her on a regular basis. Not only that, but the wording of this BI makes it sounds like he still does this even after the child has died.
Think of the dude as 'lucky' that a baby died all you want. I will personally think of the whole thing as horrible since a baby died. Asshole.
No they're not , not even close. They had two modest hits in the last two years but that stupid Uma Thurman song didn't take off and they're playing way smaller venues they're not headlining stadiums like they did in the 00's

WHOA! This is a blind item that I actually know to be true because I know the person involved. This is legit. The person was also physically abusive to her, but she wasn't exactly a groupie. It was someone the band member knew from back in his home state and the pregnancy was slightly before he got famous. To the poster above who mentioned the Flint water poisoning, it had nothing to do with lead in water and this did not happen in Michigan. I might be wrong but I want to say it had to do with lead injested from a toy? I do know there was somehow lead involved in the death, whether that was the primary or secondary cause I do not remember.
