This B list mostly movie actress had a chance to save this final sequel installment from the disaster it became but had to drop out because she was not taking her medications at the time. The part was then offered to this now A+ list movie actress but she declined because she wanted to do the movie that would make her A+ list.

I love Ryder, but she could not "save" Godfather 3...although Sofia helped with the ruining of it

I never thought Sofia was that bad, she hardly had any lines, anyway!
But without Godfather 3, we never would have had the classic, "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"

No truer words have been written. Pretty much everybody in 3 were shitty but Sofia was a special kind of awful.
Particularly the scene when Sofia gets shot..

That was such a weird scene. I realize that isn't saying much (considering) but I still can't figure out how every actor missed the mark .
Pacino's performance I get-I guess. What do you do when you're told to silent cry? He looked like he was getting into shaking SC a little too much, though, but who could blame him? AG looked amused but aroused at the same time. DK looks confused but it wasn't a "Is he having a heart attack?" confused. It was a "I didn't know Al Pacino was in this movie." confused. I have always disliked TS. I have not seen her in many roles but that is because I've thought she was just terrible in what I have seen. Another relative contributing to the crap-factor in that movie. The gunman holding the gun like a bad mob movie from the 30's -another odd choice.
I was expecting nothing from Sofia by that point..counting down to the inevitable at that point. I just wanted the extras to drag her down the cement stairs by her feet until she was off-camera. She didn't even act dead decently. Blah
There are people out there who think it was just as good as I and II, though. I've even seen the few who have commented that it was their favorite. They love it just as passionately as I hate it. I learned that the hard way on the IMDB boards -yikes.

Roberts an A+?! Her career is in the dumpster for some time now. Maybe Jodie's flick will help reviving it, but right now she ain't an A+.

Winona. She was in all my favorites growing up. She is one of those actresses that I soured on and I can't even remember why. It was before the shoplifting and that Sandler movie. Although, I'm not above blaming him for it anyways.
She was in my favorite movie back in the day-remember that awful/wonderful movie Heathers? At the end, I'd get mad at her every time. JD is adorable and is really into you. Why can't you just let him blow up the school like he wants?

The last time I can recall watching Winona was on Drunk History and she was hilarious.
Roberts is the worst. I am just fortunate that she stopped making the type of films that I like to watch a long time ago.
Sofia almost redeemed herself by directing a few good films. It wasn't her fault anyways. There were a decent amount of great young actresses around that time ..that was all FFC. The whole storyline was awful.
Last that I checked, she still didn't have that many directing credits but I am a big fan of Lost in Translation and The Virgin Suicides. Marie Antoinette I wanted to like but it just made me hungry.
