Love her or hater, deserving or not, J Lo has a high enough profile that she is A+.
He dislikes her for Ben, but likes her for himself (maybe it's just friend's protection, Ben is so fragile...).

Who else is not surprised that the talent-free (ok, she can dance) JLo is doing EVERYTHING to further her carreer? I mean absolutely everything.

So Bennifer was just a giant PR stunt for all involved. The relationship existed in the press but no where else - it was all just sex and publicity. If anyone involved cared would a third been involved?
A woman goes down in rating for being in a long-term relationship or friendship with a possibly closeted guy? She's never said that he's actually her boyfriend. Others say that he's her assistant and she just shakes off the boyfriend rumors to keep people from obsessing over who else she might be dating.
Nevertheless, I don't buy that a woman loses a + just because of who she dates, unless she's dating someone truly heinous like Trump.
A glory-hole chorus boy. Not a "Wuthering Heights" doomed-by- society romance. Anyone, male or female, who lowers themselves to that level lives with what people think about it.
Even you admit you would take away her + for Trumping.
