While standing in line waiting to order some food this week, this probably still A+ list singer was handed a demo by this teenager. The A+ lister turned to the teenager and said, “Do I look like I’m a f**king charity,” and refused to take the demo. Our A+ lister then turned to the friend she was with and said,”I don’t have f**king time for nobodies.”

Don't know why people think Katy's career is about to nosedive. She's just finished a huge 149 date world tour which grossed over $200m.

I'm ambivalent when it comes to Katy Perry, but any jackass that approaches her with a demo deserves what they get. There are proper channels to be discovered & shoving your shitty demo at an established celebrity (no matter how trivial), will almost always result in it ending up in the circular file. I don't blame her for wanting nothing to with some desperate random.
Always thought that behind her exegerated nice girl act was geniuen kindness :( When was here last #1 single, she doesn't deserve A+ recognition imo

@Malibu - I can't wait for the inevitable end of that awful fractured family either. It's going to be a mess. I expect at least 2 OD's, and, if one of them lives more than a decade, major problems from all the botox and massive cosmetic surgery she has had. And PMK, she reminds me of her pal OJ, that all of her machinations will catch up with her.

Ok, it's been past 10 years. Someone needs to say this, in any community when a druggie whore and a druggie get killed, it typically can be presumed their deaths are drug related. He may be a hell of a piece of work and an asshole to boot, but OJ didn't have to kill these two.

But this is exactly how Taylor Swift got her foot in the door, going everyplace in Nashville and handing her demo tapes to anyone she could. Watch this teen become a sensation eventually with this major backstory.

She was so gracious and nice when we met. I can't imagine her acting like that. Maybe it's a bad day. We're all entitled to a few.
As I understand it, Taylor didn't make it because of anything that organic, nor has any artist I've ever heard of. She made it because her dad bought every unsold ticket to her early shows ("Wow, another sellout!"), and more importantly, became the primary investor in Big Machine records. She's a mediocrity with no more reason to be a household name than the K family.
