Today's Blind Items - The Jerk
I ran across something yesterday involving this guy (A list director) and what an awful person he is so I thought I would share a few stories about him. He has been the subject of a blind or two in the past which were revealed and give you a taste of how bad he can be. Here are a few more.
- A girlfriend broke up with him because he sent her sister naked photos of himself. He continued to pursue the sister after the breakup.
- He once fired an actress because he didn't think her oral skills were good enough. He used much worse language and did it in front of the crew.
- He and this A+ list mogul find models online and bet money to see who can have sex with the model first. To prove it you have to have a picture of the model topless in your bed. They then share the photos with all their other tool friends.
- Went on a 45 minute rampage because someone brought him the wrong kind of soup.
- Shut down filming for a day because he wanted to see how many different women he could have sex with in one day.
- Dated a woman six months and cheated on her every day even though they saw each other every day.
- More than once he has kicked a woman out of his bed because when she got undressed he decided he didn't like her body or it didn't look like he imagined it would.

I'll go with Bay because he's def A list. I can't think of the last thing Ratner worked on.

Cameron is always my go-to answer for jackass director.
Plus there's stories from exes that make James sound a lot like the director in this blind.

Sounds like Bay and his buddy who is now dead Bruckheimer.

Im going w/ Brett Ratner b/c I literally JUST read his article in Variety as to why he's banned from Eden Roc in Cannes! Pretty Funny and he IS an asshat afterall.
Bay and Bruckheimer are alive. It was Bruckheimer's old partner Don SImpson that died.
I read the link -- so nothing has changed in the 30 years since I quit working Hollywood films.
And the industry just grinds (dry humping) on.

I think you are right unfortunately. I am shocked by this if it is true because I thought it would be someone like Bay or Ratner. He's the only director that had something negative written about him yesterday as far as I can tell.
Cameron has had several marriages, They haven't stopped him from having girlfriends.

While the XOJane article is clearly Alexander Payne (not a lot of filming done in Omaha), I wasn't able to find any blind reveals referencing him. Maybe the Entys combined two nasty directors?

Your definition of "since always" is a little bit off. Based off the list from Wikipedia I'd say being married doesn't seem to mean much to James Cameron.

The timing of this blind and the revelations made by the former production assistant are obvious: Alexander Payne. And he looks like such a timid little man.

The George guy is George Parra who went out w/Catherine Zeta-Jones(Mask Of Zorro) til shedumped him for Hollywood royalty Michael Douglas.

David O. Russell. Mainly because the hissy fit about soup sounds like him.
I met George Parra at a dinner party when he was in Philly working on Silver Linings Playbook. He invited me to a cool event which I gladly accompanied him to, then at one point he got a bit touchy feely, leading me to believe he was interested in me which I was not. Cut to a week or so later and we were both at the same party, except this time his guest was his wife.
I also think it's Ratner and the 'Hotel du Crap' story. My god, did he sound like an entitled asshat.

I met A Payne at a private cocktail party like 5-6 years ago. He was a pompous asshole. This has to be him. Blech.
Which ones specifically about Lucas?
There are dozens of candidates for who the director might be, but I'm guessing Michael Bay. What I'd _really_ like to know, though, is who the A+ list mogul is?
Both are alive, and are there really stories like that about Bruckheimer?
Has to be Brett Ratner in light of all the revelations about him recently. First girlfriend was Serena Williams and Venus being the one he sent naked photos to.
