Love OITNB, but It is time to let the Crazy Eyes fascination take a rest. Tastyee is the best actress in the show, Black Cindy, a/k/a Tova, had the best storyline last year, and Poussey is terrific from one episode to the next (and along with Nicky, who does show up finally in S4, my personal fave). And Maria has emerged as the "to watch" character in Season 4, and I think something major is being set up between her and Piper from which dynamics are seriously gonna shift. Time to show these other outstanding ladies some love.
The show is considered a drama so that rules out characters like Black Cindy and Taystee. I don't think Samira/Poussey is all that great. And her character is really uninteresting.
But yeah the entire ensemble is very strong. I'm sure they'll be up for SAG ensemble again. Unfortunately, Emmy voters just name check after a show becomes popular, so expect Uzo and perhaps Taylor. The latter is very deserving this season though. The only nomination Uzo's earned imo is for season 1.
