Why should they make statements about it? It's nothing to do with them
your mouth to god's ear...
They're not obliged to make statements but this massacre has as much to do with them as it does us. Plenty of non-famous people have commented on it when they have no direct connection.
It's a national tragedy, it has to do with everyone. That said, if someone chooses not to comment on this or any other subject I have no issue with that.
