This foreign born singer is permanently A list. I think he gets most of that from the group he used to be with back in the day. Plus, the easy to remember name. He has made some horrible business investments and is running out of cash. He could probably keep going, but he also wants to split from his wife with a woman who has been traveling with him on tour so needs to really bring in as much cash as he can right now.

His expenses are ptetty high, snd he isn't selling albums the way he used to. Plus his Broadway show was a flop, which cost him a lot of money. Perhaps he should sell off a castle or two.
Instead of buying castle properties which cost lots of $$$'s monthly, he should have bought NNN income property that pays him lots of $$$'s monthly.
Oh, well.
Ever read Trudy's laundry list of what all she owns? She's probably been clipping him for years without his knowledge.
He's no dummy.It's been said she's quite the real estate investor, and bought a new property every time he cheated. He probably keeps a lot of his money in her name anyway, so he can plead poverty when it's convenient to him. Also, he was an art investor as well, heard recently that one painting that Bowie's family is auctioning of is worth over $4.5million. Maybe time to unload some now.
He was wealthy enough at a point where he could afford to live his fantasy life, and he indulged it (castle) which is fine. You do you. But the spendy-spendy-ness he and the missus are renowned for has caught up to them.
He was one of the people fleeced by Madoff.

Don't trust what you can google about the net worth's of musicians. It is very hard to calculate that due to the nature of touring, international sales, etc. Various places can make good estimates of what has been earned, but not what they still have. Bad investments would slash that money.

And, this is relative. He's got what you and I would call FU money. But if he gets divorced, the wife gets half.
He's a king sized douche. And don't have much sympathy for Trudy Styler considering she broke up his first marriage, so what goes around eventually comes around. Anyway I'm pretty sure their marriage has been an open one, but even then there's a danger one of the spouses develops feelings for someone else. They both suck.
