How old is Jodie Foster these days? When we were kids, she was about three or four years older than me, then somewhere along the line she got younger and at one point we were the same age, but that was a while ago. She must be pushing 42 or so now.
As to the first, whether you are gay or straight, I encourage you to explore the history of gay, sexual and feminist emancipation. It is a gay issue in that the ability to engage in cis/het normative civil traditions, and benefit from them, is new. After fighting so hard, myself included, we should behave better.
