Despite the fact he is married, there are several people out there who have made it clear, they would like to be involved with the actor. His wife has been leaking stories to tabloids about happy the couple is and how she is set to do something she didn't do at the time of marriage, just to show the world how close they are.

I think "take his name" is a great guess if it's Cumberbatch. It's the only one that makes sense, really. But who are the "several people" who've made it clear they'd like to be involved with him? That sounds like specific people who would be recognized as having made that clear---i.e., not just fans in general.
Also, why would she do this just to prove they're together and close? I mean, is taking his name more close and personal than having two kids with him? Weird.

xxx, thanks for the reply. I don't think it's Brealey. She was with her own boyfriend at the time, much younger and handsome Ferdy Kingsley. She, Ferdy, and Hiddleston all looked rather exasperated-slash-disgusted by that display. But it's a reasonable guess; she does seem to be rather sweet on him. I don't know who else would be in that category, though. It's not as if it's well known that he's got a couple of people pining for him, so who "made it clear"? Maybe I'm getting bogged down in details.
