This band which has had a pretty good 2016 is banned for one year from getting any of these music awards after they broke the rules and publicly explained how the awards are bought and paid for. I have told you for years, but I think it might be the first time one of the bands has said anything.

I thought they all 'Hollywood Awards' were bought and paid for -- even Oscars.

I knew Golden Globes was fake (108 boozy critics) and that AMA was a Dick Clark product to go up against Grammys, but they're rigged too? Horrors.
Acting Oscars are voted on by actors. I don't think there's much of a fix, if any, there.
The lesser regarded awards, like Golden Globes, MTV awards, AMAs and People's Choice, yes, I can easily see being swayed by money.
Though I am still scratching my head over Diana Ross getting a Medal Of Freedom. A Kennedy Center recognition, yes, R & R Hall Of Fame, yes, but why the nation's highest civilian honor? I don't really associate her with charity or selfless works.
Gee I hope the People's Choice Awards winners don't know they're getting them in advance.
Well Adam Lambert hasn't been allowed to perform on any US award shows since he **GASP** kissed a dude. I think that was the AMA's too, right? That was a long time ago & he has basically been blacklisted since.
Besides 21 Pilots are the most annoying group around right now. Hopefully they go away fast.
They make some really great music IMO, and I am not a fan of modern music generally. And frankly, good on them for speaking the truth.
