Just another example of a celebrity with no money management experience who thought the film money was going to flow in endlessly.
The list of celebrities like this is very, very long.
If he ever wants to feel sad, he can calculate how much money he has given to that grifting cult Scientology over the years.
He deliberately established homes in Maine and Florida because of the lower cost of living. That is someone being smart about their money.
He isn't stupid, but he has been sued quite a few times and has had to pay off a few people. His legal bills must be something, and flying/maintaining planes is an expensive pastime. His career, aside from the People vs. OJ, is also in another lull. But I doubt he is actually hand to mouth desperate for money.
Just because someone is having money issues does not mean they are bad at managing their funds. There are often, as with John Travolta, extenuating circumstances.
