This B+ list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee got to see the angry drunk/mean hangover A+ list actor she had not seen since filming their movie together. It did not make for a fun day of press and she bailed as soon as she could. Apparently while drunk the night before the press event he texted and called her constantly and was not nice.

No. There was a story about Jennifer Garner feeling threatened because she thought they were getting too close. The problem was that Ben had already moved out of the house by then & it was all BS. Enty had blinds about Ben staying out all night at a casino drinking & trying to get cocktail waitresses to go home with him. Anna's boyfriend was with her the whole time & it would be pretty hard for her to cheat on him when he's on set with her & with her when she was off set.
From the interviews I saw of Anna & Ben I got a vibe of Ben being bitter because he tried to get her to sleep with him & she denied him. I imagine the text & calls used some version of the phrase "cock tease" over & over again.

No, Ben had already moved out by the time this movie started filming. Anna's boyfriend was on set with her & was in Atlanta the whole time. It would be pretty hard to cheat on him when he's on set & also living with her during the entire film shoot. Enty had blinds about Ben's marriage being over & how he moved out months before the movie started shooting & had blinds about Ben spending his nights after shooting at casinos getting drunk & playing cards, all while trying to get women to sleep with him. It was over before that movie ever started filming.
She has a lot of the same facial features that Jennifer Garner has. I would say she's definitely his type.
You may not find her attractive, but millions disagree with you. She's on hottest women list & recently won some award that men voted on for being hot. When a large group of men vote & choose from all the actresses & models on who is attractive & they vote for a woman you don't find attractive? That is a person that's attractive. You don't have to find her attractive, but saying she's not like it's a fact is simply stupid.
As I point out above she shares many physical features with Jennifer Garner. He fell in love & married Jennifer, so I think Anna is his type.

So reading your comment and the blind it actually makes the blind make more sense/more plausible if you consider it from the perspective of "what would a drunken jackass do".
She gets the role, he's probably excited because while it's clear she doesn't do the casting couch, there are competing blinds about whether she hooks up onset. For example, Enty said "no go with Clooney" but Ace said "repeated hookups until Clooney tried to introduce fingercuffs to her vernacular". So he figures he'll score.
Then the BF shows up with her. No dice, all business. Flash forward to the PR tours when the BF isn't with her and Ben figures he'll be getting his. Still no dice. Maybe it's because he's a trainwreck. Maybe she's not the sort to screw around on a boyfriend. Maybe she is just exercising her right to not be interested. In any event...a couple drinks and BOOM his inner-Affleck-brother comes out.
The interviews definitely seemed like she was trying to maintain professionalism and he was cranky. And the pictures at the parties (when he was likely drinking) seemed like he was a bit more touchy feely then she cared for.

Nope, Anna said during Accountant interviews that she only met Ben once before filming, and it was a brief interaction at some charity event where she had to explain who the Jonas brother were to him, or something like that. They didn't know each other.
Anna is also in a long term relationship with a cinematographer. And she isn't the type to cheat.
"Not the type to cheat" makes you sound like a fanboy/girl who thinks they know something about her from looking through her Instagram feed. Look:
- she usually dates non-industry guys
- if they are in the industry they are camera dudes, sound dudes, or directors.
- And if they are one of those dudes they tend to not be good looking (so as to be willing to put up with more crap because how will they ever score with someone like Anna Kendrick)
- A different thread had two posters arguing about some book she likes about why we shouldn't be monogamous. I Googled and she's mentioned it a number of times over the years

What are you going on about? Lisa said they most likely hooked up before and I simply clarified that as being untrue as they didn't really know each other before filming. And I've seen enough interviews with her where she says how she just wants a nice guy who'll take care of her, she says that in her book where she talks a lot about having healthy relationships and avoiding creeps.
And since when does reading a book on a subject make you agree with its contents? If she reads a book on the KKK does that make her a racist? Someone she knew recommended a book on the evolution of human sexuality to her so she read it. She never said she agreed with it's contents, in fact, she was dismissive about it and called it stupid. She's been in a serious committed relationship for the last 3 years. The dude just moved in with her too from what I hear. And he's not bad looking at all.

I think this is exactly what happened. Many of the press photos during the PR for The Accountant looked like he was hung over or drunk & Anna looked like she was trying as hard as she could to smile for the cameras. I think Ben is used to actresses trying to get jobs in movies he's directing or starring in. The actresses hope they can get a job by sleeping with him, so when a woman says no he can't cope with that because he is not used to hearing "no."
I have commented on other blinds too! I swear! :) I woke up too early & passed the time by commenting on this blind. I think I beat a dead horse by commenting so many times!
When would they have hooked up with Ben was married? When they filmed the movie her boyfriend was with her. He's been with her a lot when she films movies since they got together 3 or 4 years ago. She has a type & Ben Affleck does not fit that type at all. Ben has never come across as the type that could handle a woman turning him down. Like I said to Lisa above I am willing to bet that Ben used some variation on the term "cock tease" in those texts & calls. The only time a rumor came up about Anna & Ben was when they were filming the movie, but her boyfriend was on set the whole time. There would not have been a chance for her to hook up with Ben. She was working on movies constantly during that time & going from film set to film set, so she did not have any time alone with Affleck at all. That rumor about them was more about how Jennifer Garner was getting worried she was losing her man, but he had already moved out of the house by then, so it was all BS from the start.
Like "Fak" says below Anna sounded pretty dismissive of that book you mention, so I don't think she is poly at all. And I happen to think her boyfriend is pretty damn hot. He's certainly better looking than a bloated, rapidly aging, angry drunk Ben Affleck. In her book she also tells a story about Affleck that came across as her way of kind of showing how Ben is a dick. She tried to spin it like it was funny, but the way it was worded comes across as Anna not really liking Ben at all.
When she was on set for this movie that was when she tweeted about not being a diva, but occasionally being a real bitch. I don't think filming the movie was a good experience for her & I don't think she really likes Ben at all. Affleck doesn't fit Anna's type at all. Not physically & not personality wise. During the PR for the movie Anna was trying to smile for the cameras, but it all was very forced & I Ben looked drunk or hungover during most of that PR. He's not known as a happy drunk, he's also not known for treating women very well. Especially women that turn him down.
Her boyfriend was with her the whole time she filmed this movie. When in the hell would she have had a chance to sleep with Affleck? "Hey, honey I'm going to Ben Affleck's trailer to run lines. If the trailer starts rocking don't come a knocking." Everybody is basing the 2 of them being together off of a rumor around the time they were filming this movie about Jennifer Garner flying to Atlanta because she was worried that he was sleeping with her. Except the marriage was pretty much over at that point & Ben had already moved out of the house. Why would Garner be worried after he already had moved out? Plus the reason they broke up was that nanny that everyone commenting on this blind conveniently is forgetting. That was the final straw in Garner & Affleck's marriage, not him sleeping with a co-star after he moved out of the house.
Just one point, the "never a diva sometimes a real dick" tweet was in response to the rumors being leaked that she was a jerk during PP2. Rory mentioned them in one of the blinds he commented on as likely being from Rebel Wilson because she was trying to get more money during the PP3 negotiations.
Out of curiosity, do you remember which interview she was dismissive about the book in? I saw her mention it in...I think it was a NY Times "Books read by famous people" sort of print interview and it didn't seem dismissive at all.

I assumed she tweeted that in regards to something that was happening on set of the Accountant because it was sent while she was working on set. It is sad that Rebel would leak things like that about Anna just to get a few more dollars in her purse, but the stories I hear from my brother make what Rebel did look like kindness in comparison.
I don't recall things that I hear in an audiobook as well as I recall things I actually read, but I think she talked about that poly book in Scrappy Little Nobody. I can not trust my own memory on that unfortunately! Fak hopefully knows for sure where she said that.

When I googled it, the book she read is called Sex at Dawn. Anna's quote was, "I’ve been reading this book, Sex at Dawn, which is fascinating but dense. It’s about sexual anthropology, and it was recommended by Dan Savage, who I adore."
She called it dense. For anyone who doesn't know what that means, it's another word for stupid, dumb, uneducated, lacking common sense, etc.
After further reading, Sex at Dawn is quite the popular book. It was on the New York Times best-seller list. Millions of people have read it. For someone to suggest that a person is a certain way simply because they read a book is close minded and ignorant, especially after they called the book dense.
At the risk of making you more irritated then you seem to be...dense when used with a book usually means "there is a lot of tough material in there" or "it's very complex"
What a stupid comment. When did they hook up? On set? Anna's boyfriend was with her the whole time. Affleck isn't her type even if she was single. If you read her book, which you obviously didn't, Anna talks openly about only engaging in healthy relationships now and only wanting to be with a nice guy who treats her right. She also says she has rules she abides by and won't ever get caught in dangerous (scandalous) situations. You'll never see her in a cheating scandal, or getting stopped in a car drunk driving or carrying drugs, or anything like that. She's a square, and she lives by rules. Read her book. It's interesting and it answers pretty much any questions someone might have about her. She isn't perfect, but she's not stupid either.
It can mean different things. I don't know how old you are, but the younger generation use it mainly to refer to something dumb. Read the urban dictionary's use for it, that's what young people use it for. Even the main dictionary's 2nd use for it is "stupid"

Nothing about Anna & Ben's interactions during the PR tour feel like they slept together. They come across as Ben wants to sleep with her & she's turned him down. Your basis for believing she slept with Ben Affleck does not line up with reality in any way, shape or form.
