Hey Nora - FYI - Most Muslim women in Muslim countries (and many in Western nations) are subjected to female genital mutilation as young girls.
FGM involves several women or men holding a young girl down with her legs kept apart and allowing another adult to slice off the clitoris and labia (without anesthesia) and sewing up the wound (again, NO anesthesia).
