The years of drug abuse have led to a voice that can no longer sing. This former A list singer is done making music. She has tried to make comebacks but the body won't allow it any longer. She says her retirement is by choice but it isn't.

It's def Baker. All kinds of legal problems over the years, nasty fights iwth other performers, lots of drug use allegations surfaced in her divorce. Shame, because she had a beautiful voice, but there were constantly issues and drama throughout her career.

Khan's still performing live all over the country, and in the studio working on a Joni Mitchell tribute project.. The decades of drug use have taken a toll on what was one of soul music's all time greatest voices, but she still puts on a show and can do a good job on a good night. She forgets lyrics all the time, though, which is pretty funny.
Is it still called lip syncing if there's barely any lip left, mostly collagen?
