My mother knows a woman who "dated" Casey Affleck. It was ongoing until August of last year. He would meet her in hotel rooms. She thought she was in love with him and is still having trouble moving on.
Saw manchester by the sea recently and their scene together near the end is amazing.

Hotel rooms seem to have a romantic mystique all their own. Back in the 60s if a guy rented a nice hotel room with chilled champagne he could pretty much do anything he wanted. We were all just going on The Pill and thought this was sexy as hell. Don't know how we survived the 60s! Most of us (not me) were stoned half the time so they don't remember most of it. Except those pesky kids who turned up 9 months later!

So weird-just watched it yesterday and that scene was fierce! (The scene with the home on fire and aftermath gutted me and I almost had to stop watching)...
