Well, she does have income issues. Feel really sad for her and just wish she would overcome her substance abuse issues. Greasy bear ruined her with his swarmy lifestyle.
I thought it was "low-hanger" Cisco Adler that was the gateway yuck.
They did it for parts, not drugs. Some were heavy drinkers or pill poppers, but the studio kept them well supplied.
Clara didn't have to fuck for parts, she did 57 films in her career which was a VERY short one. They worked her damn near death, she was branded an outcast and never partook in Hollywood 'events' even when she was the #1 box office draw,
Clara was the show, she could have worked until she died, she made the choice to leave.
In NO way was she some skanky, drug addicted, one tv show hit wonder. She did pills anyways, which I am sure were supplied by her numerous doctors and handlers. I don't see Clara sucking dick for anything except pleasure.
And Clara actaully passed away in her 60's with a good amount of money to her name.
So NO she was nothing like this trashy broad or the others who fuck for parts and fake the funk.|
Clara was the real deal.
I feel bad for her too. Not all bipolar respond to meds.
I feel terrible for this poor girl. Something's not right with her, she needs desperate help, I hope she'll get it.
I feel like I want to run after her screaming "PEOPLE CARE ABOUT YOU." She's so clearly way way down the addiction rabbit hole with little support. It's really sad, I think she might end up being one of the ones who dies soon. Something has to turn a corner. That or she'll finally get clean and sober. Fingers crossed hard for the latter.
Yes, it was tragic how the most disgusting rumours were spread about her (allegedly doing the whole college football team that a young John Wayne played for, and other even worse acts of depravity). She was diagnosed as schizophrenic later in life and the stigma attached to it was horrendous, back then. She had a really rough childhood, then worked half to death - there are one or two great books about Clara that I've read that made me realize how amazing she was!
